ACH Originator Review

ACH Originators are the backbone of the ACH Network and are bound by an agreement to comply with all Rules specific to the Debit and Credit Entries and Standard Entry Class Code (SEC) they originate. Rules requirements differ based on SEC Code, with some requirements more complex than others. For instance, file formatting and notice requirements may differ based on SEC code, and Originators of WEB debit entries must conduct an annual WEB Debit Audit. An Originator review is a proactive means of mitigating compliance risk and the fines and penalties that can be assessed for non-compliance.
